OpScout Financial Data & Alert Risk Disclosure

Version 1.3 · Effective date: October 17, 2026

Please read this before you rely on OpScout. It forms part of the OpScout Terms of Use.

What OpScout is, and is not

OpScout is a research, information, calculation and monitoring tool, operated by OSHER MEVIN, INC.

OpScout is not:

It does not place, route or execute trades, and it does not hold your money or securities.

OpScout does not recommend that you buy, sell, hold, write, exercise or close any security or option. Neither the strategy names, rankings, matches nor Alerts it shows are advice, and they do not mean a transaction is suitable for you.

You choose what is monitored

You choose the instruments, conditions, thresholds and options criteria that OpScout monitors. OpScout applies your settings mechanically to the data available to it.

An Alert is not the same as a Notification

An Alert can exist even if its Notification is late or never reaches you. Check the app for your Alerts. Do not rely only on Notifications.

Data can be wrong, late or missing

OpScout relies on third-party market data providers and other licensed data sources. Their data can be:

Different fields can update at different times, so values shown together may not reflect the same moment. Options data, and any data outside regular trading hours, can be especially limited.

Calculations have limits

Returns, annualized returns, premiums, probabilities, rankings and other derived values depend on the inputs available and on the assumptions described in the Methodology & Data Disclosure. Some are calculated by OpScout. Others are supplied, already calculated, by data sources.

These values generally do not reflect:

Annualized values are not forecasts. They scale a short-period figure to a one-year basis. They do not mean you will earn that return, or any return.

Displayed prices may not be executable. A price, bid, ask or premium shown by OpScout may not be available when or in the size you try to trade.

Nothing in OpScout guarantees a profit, a return or any level of performance.

Your own records are estimates

The Journal, the Portfolio, Virtual Performance and Strategy Review are built from what you enter and from market data, using the methods in the Methodology & Data Disclosure. Their values, such as profit and loss, returns and account values, are estimates. They are not brokerage statements, trade confirmations, tax records or a measure of your actual results. Check them against your broker's records.

Alerts and Notifications can fail

Alerts and Notifications can be:

This can be caused by data providers, networks, messaging services, your device or its operating system settings, maintenance, outages, market volatility, market closures, notification limits or other causes.

OpScout checks Monitors on a schedule, not continuously, and only during the hours the Methodology & Data Disclosure describes. It is not a real-time trading system.

Content from other people is not advice

Posts, comments, Clubs, shared Monitors and Alerts, and other content in OpScout's community come from other users, not from OpScout. OpScout does not check them for accuracy, and they are not advice from OpScout or suitable for you because someone else posted them.

Be especially careful with anyone who promises returns, urges you to act quickly, or asks you to move money or to contact them elsewhere.

AI assistants you connect

If you connect an AI assistant to OpScout, the assistant is provided by its own provider. What it tells you, including any analysis or suggestion, comes from that assistant, not from OpScout, and may be wrong. Check every Monitor it creates or changes in the OpScout app.

Verify before you act

Do not rely on OpScout as your only source for a time-sensitive trade. Before you act, independently verify all material information, including prices, option terms, market status and corporate actions. Use your broker, the exchange, the issuer or another authoritative source.

Investing involves risk

Investing in securities and options involves risk of loss. Options can lose value quickly, can be exercised or assigned, and can result in the loss of the entire amount invested or more, depending on the strategy.

You are solely responsible for your investment and trading decisions.

If OpScout asks you to acknowledge this disclosure, your acknowledgment confirms that you have read and understood these limitations.
